We believe that an 8 ft. bear with a thickly furred hide is a better trophy than a 9 ft. bear with a rubbed hide. However, size is an important trophy characteristic and you are not encouraged to shoot a bear under 8ft.
Our 20 plus year average size bear taken is 8'10".
Black bears, wolves and wolverines are also observed on these hunts and may be taken for an additional fee. Fair chase principles are practiced at all times.
Fair chase hunting principles are observed at all times. All hunting is done in strict compliance with the laws of Alaska pertaining to: guiding, outfitting and hunting. We guarantee an honest sincere effort to providing professional hunting guide services which include
the following:
Offering 1 on 1 and 2 on 1
guided hunts
Complete outfitting of camps, cooking, etc.
Professional field care of all animals taken.
Round trip transportation to hunting camps from Soldotna, Kenai or Homer, Alaska.
Pre- and post-hunt assistance as required, i.e., travel and hotel reservations, airport transfer, assistance shipping hides, and skulls.
A client shall receive a detailed equipment list of personal gear required for a specific hunt upon receipt of deposit.
